Science-Backed Fitness with Heart.

Hi, I’m Danielle—a Registered Kinesiologist, Certified Personal Trainer, and Specialist in Pre & Postnatal Fitness. But more importantly, I’m someone who gets how confusing and frustrating fitness can feel when your body isn’t responding the way it used to.

Whether you’re navigating postpartum recovery, preparing for birth, or just tired of workouts that leave you sore, exhausted, or spinning your wheels, I’m here to change that.

IT started from a need, and evolved into more.

Originally from Montreal, I’ve called Thunder Bay home since 2010. What brought me here was the outdoors, what made me stay was the people.

STRONGMOM Coaching began in 2016 after the birth of my second child. Like so many women, I was overwhelmed by how little support there was in the weeks and months after having a baby. Six weeks postpartum, and you’re basically on your own. I felt it. I lived it. And I knew I wasn’t the only one.

So, I created what I needed—a space where women could feel supported, seen, and strong again. STRONGMOM Coaching was born out of a desire to help women heal, stay motivated, build strength, and take care of themselves, not just as moms, but as whole people.

While STRONGMOM Coaching started as a space for mothers, it’s grown into something much bigger. Today, I work with a wide range of people, from those recovering from injury to those chasing new strength goals, all looking for guidance, accountability, and a personalized approach that actually works.

“Sometimes we just need a little boost. Someone to help direct the next step or to stick with us through long-term goals. STRONGMOM Coaching can be a starting point or a lasting support system.” — Danielle Dubeau, founder & trainer of STRONGMOM Coaching.

Whether it’s through 1:1 coaching, semi-private training, or group programs, my goal is always the same: to help you move better, feel better, and live stronger.

It’s all in my approach.

I believe strength training should be empowering, never intimidating; and that your workouts should feel like they’re working with your body — not against it.

My coaching combines deep scientific knowledge with a whole lot of compassion and real-life perspective. I meet you where you are, and together, we move forward, safely, strategically, and at your pace.

Fitness isn’t just about how you move, it’s about how you feel in your life.

On the personal side.

When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me near the big lake, outdoors running, skiing, lifting, or playing with my kids.

I believe in movement that fits your life, enjoying your surroundings, and the community you surround yourself with.

If you have any questions about your health, need encouragement, or are just looking for someone to help you feel like yourself again—I’d love to talk.
